Soup
When the meat or fish dish or the vegetable dish prepared for luncheon has broth. Soup may not be served. The primary purpose for serving soup is to stimulate the appetite. Soup also provides additional food elements needed by the body. Soup is mostly liquid. It is also one way of taking some more water in our body. Soup served for luncheon may be the stock or liquid in boiled meat or chicken. This is served hot in individual soup cups or soup plates. Milk thickened with flour may also be cooked with chicken or meat stock.
