Bad Weather Woes
The changing weather and fluctuations between hot and cold makes us prone to cough, colds and flu. Stay healthy all-yearlong by taking some preventive measures:

1. During the rainy season, always bring an umbrella or waterproof jacket to keep you dry. Since the Philippines have an unpredictable climate, it is best to always have an umbrella with you to protect yourself from the scorching sun and heavy downpour.
2. If you do get caught in a downpour, change into dry clothes immediately. Keeping an extra set of clothes in the office or in your car come in handy.
3. To avoid the spread of germs, wash your hands regularly especially after using the bathroom, before eating, and after touching publicly handled things such as money, telephones, elevator buttons and door knobs.

If you do get sick, here are some ways to help you recover quickly:
1. Drink lots of liquids to help rid your body of the infection.
2. Rest so that your body can eliminate the infection. Taking a break also prevents relapse or catching other illness.
3. Take your medication regularly to relieve the symptoms of your cold, allergic rhinitis or blocked sinuses.
