Kids can brighten up any household with their energy and enthusiasm. However, their hyperactivity can be a cause of concern for parents as they are prone to injuries and accidents. Here are a few suggestions to keep kids safe while having fun.

1. Make sure your child is properly nourished.
2. Sleep is important as food for a growing child. Afternoon naps are a must and bedtime should not be too late.
3. Childproof your home. Keep sharp objects such as scissors and pens iii a safe place and keep your child away from electrical wires/outlets or appliances. In the event of wounds, cuts or minor burns, apply an antibiotic ointment on the affected area to prevent infection and minimize the appearance of scars.
4. Teach your kids to make frequent hand washing a habit to prevent the spread of germs.
