Simple First Aid Reminders
We all know that health and safety is everyone's priority. Inasmuch as we know accidents are unavoidable, we have prepared a simple first aid to prevent accidents from happening - your indispensable manual on how to prevent and treat body discomforts and minor emergencies.

Over the Counter Medications (OTC)
In lieu of a doctor's consultation, cheaper self-medication is preferred over minor health problems and injuries. Over the counter medications advertised on TV and print give us an array of choices to solve minor health hazards. When used properly, OTC products carry with them very low risks of bad or serious side effects. Here are some tips for using OTC medicine or other home remedies safely:

1. Read label instructions carefully. When in doubt, ask a health professional.
2. Use only as directed - remember that most bad side effects happen when too much medicine is taken or if it is taken for too long.
3. Keep medications away from children.
4. Stop usage and consult a doctor if you are sensitive to and develop a bad reaction to the medicine taken.
5. Make sure the medicine is not expired. The manufacturer can no longer guarantee the potency or purity of expired medicine.
6. Use eye drops, nasal drops or sprays as instructed. Improper use may contaminate contents.
7. Consult a doctor if symptoms worsen or persist for more than five days.
