The fruit fly is about 1/3 the size of the filth or house fly. Under the microscope, they have bright and red eyes. Their body color is usually a light yellow to tan color.

How do you get rid of fruit flies? The presence of fruit flies signals that food is stale. It simply tells us that the food we eat is no longer edible because it is overripe or it wasn't properly stored in the refrigerator.
